On the quilting front: Last month I took a trip with friends to the Stitchin' Post Quilt Shop, in Sisters, OR, for a Gwen Marston workshop on using solids. I did the cat applique before going, and added the borders in class. I used no rulers and no rotary cutter to achieve a more organic look. The cat image is from a Dover book on Folk Art Motifs from India. It all looks Guatemalan to me and friends. Quilting in progress.
